Urban Projections is a company that creates digital work thats is both engaging and creative fore everyone, for individual companies. They work with producers, DJ’s, festival and more creating a diverse range of work.

In a recent piece called “Freedom Is” For Frequency Festival 2015. 

“Freedom Is….. Is a temporary installation envionment, built to pop up for the launch of Frequncy 2015 Festival of Multimedia. Using conductive paint, the projection mapped illustarations come to life with light and movement when the audience touch and interact with the piece.”

In this installation we say making something basic, like cardboard boxes, into a digital installation that used conductive paint and projection to make it a fun piece.  What stands out about this piece though is having to use collaboration, such as the hands on the hand print to get to projection to move.

As it was based around the idea of freedom and liberty, it also got the audience thinking about this. Whilst this wasn’t necessarily a way of teaching and learning, it was a creative way to get a serious topic in the minds of everyone.
